    Nice read.

I understand their apprehension a little about expansion. They put teams in shitty markets (Nashville, Florida, Atlanta, Carolina, etc) and the product suffered.

However a transient market like Vegas (where you'd get the tourism fans too) would work. The numbers so far have shown there is interest. I know I'd make it out there to see a Flyers game. Just another excuse to go to Vegas.

Plus it would be fun to make a bet and then go watch it live. Bonus points for people watching when the drunkards who lost their bet talk shit to the team they lost it on.

Is that the Bill Foley who owns all the wineries and Bacara resort?

BTW, though you have a link it looks like you booted the whole article. I'm sure shifter will ask you to clean that up because of copyright concerns.

    Amen!

Hoping they can get into the playoffs this year. Hate the fact they can't win a damn shootout though. Always seem like automatic losses. Hextall has done a nice job at fixing Holmgren's mistakes

Agree, Hexy has done well, better than I thought he would to be honest. Hoping for playoffs too, they've had some great wins this season, yet stupid losses too...now is when it really counts to be consistent and healthy. Strong push to playoffs would be nice... Flyers have been my team since I first got ESPN back in '86 as hockey was non-existent in San Jose at that time. (I thought it was cool they had a D man with my name) Years later, I did make it to Philly for 2 games in the Spectrum, which was pretty awesome.

3-5 in shootouts...that's a killer. Being -18 in goals for/against is horrendous too...gotta find the net, and get the W over Sabres tonight!

I'll definitely go there and watch the Canucks when they're in town. Would be nice if the NHL stopped jerking them around with it and just handed it over already.

And I long for the day of a stud goalie. As does everything other Flyers fan.

    Up 2-0 so far!

Every game will be like a road games for the home team.

As much as people crash on Nashville it works there.

Phoenix needs to go to Seattle. With Canadian dollar where it is at I can see Quebec or Hamilton being out.

NHL should expand have always expanded to non NBA cities in the states.
