Andiamo is amazing, I have eaten there twice and loved it both times. Last time I had the 24oz porterhouse, simply amazing. Also if you eat at Andiamo you have to get the ceasar salad it is made table side and to die for.

I've been to most, nearly all, and I can assure you that V&A is not far and away the best downtown. It is arguably the best downtown.

My comment centers on your claim that V&A is tops, when taking strip steakhouses into consideration.

Wag your bad finger, that's an insane comment. Far and away better than Prime, SW, Cut, Charlie Palmer, Delmonico? Are you freakin' serious? I know nothing of you, but first you make an ignorant claim concerning an obviously beloved restaurant and then question my knowledge base???

Haha, yep, I'm a neophyte in such matters and you are the undisputed expert in all things having to do with Vegas steakhouses.

Another Boyd property, Second Street Grill at Fremont Casino, has a T-Bone steak special for $23.99. No desert included though.

Redwood Grill is closed on Wed/Thurs. Note, they are remodeling the Redwood Grill location in the Cal. It has temporarily moved to the old Pullman location at MSS.

That's funny. It would actually work too if I was the OP.

I never claimed to be the undisputed expert. I did however dispute your inaccurate claim which for some odd reason you feel the need to defend.

Order a ribeye at Prime, Delmonico and SW and tell me that any of them are vastly inferior to your beloved Vic and Anthony's. You said something stupid. It's ok man, Dr. Nick is here for you.

I'd like to second that Vic and Anthony's is delicious and priced better than the strip! The best steak I've had on the strip is at CUT though. Delmonicos steak was good but needed salt. At those prices I shouldn't feel the need to season a damn thing. My opinion is if you are in Vegas and want steak, get a good steak. You can get crappy cuts of beef at home. I don't dress up to go to any of these places either and was always made to feel welcome and my patronage valued.

I've had steak at V&A's...it is quite good... I have no idea whether or not it's "the best"... but I also don't think that matters a whole lot, as "best" is always a matter of subjective opinion when it comes to food.

Heather - I totally 'get' the OP on this - for a 'guys trip', where "eating" is just something one is required to do to in order to stay alive, going with fast, lower-end steaks is something my buddies & I routinely do.
I would take exception to the up-thread suggestion of Tony Roma's, however... yes, it's only my opinion, but I was very disappointed with the steak I got there (about 5 years ago...last time I went there).

I'm not a "foodie" or anything close to being one, but I still want decent food, with good service...but if you & I ever meet for a steak, we can go where ever you wish, so long as I can get out of there for $60 or less + a $10 tip.
    ;)

I thought tellafriend was trying to tell us that he was the O.P ( OBESE PERSON ) because then his meme would be 100% accurate for once.

Someday I aspire to be able to eat at such nice steakhouses. Until then, lead us oh great beef master.

You are dense. Keep imagining what you like so you think to yourself how smart you sound to the rest of us who are bovine challenged.
