I was reading a TR on another board, and L'atellier got a great rating from a Vegan who couldnt believe the diversity of the menu they prepared without animal products.

If theyre from Paris, you can;t go wrong with a Robouchon restaurant, and it;'s the cheaper of the two at MGM.

There is nowhere I would take clients at NYNY or Luxor

How about Fluer at MB? Hubert Keller is no slouch, and Fleur has a really diverse around the world menu

Not sure if you have entertained these folks in the past or not, if so, just ignore this...but as someone who works for a French owned company and has had to somewhat frequently dine with them on visits here, I can almost guarantee you that they would appreciate an excellent steak dinner (other than the vegetarian, of course)....Good cuts of steak are somewhat the exception in France, and to a T, everyone we have taken out lusts for a good steak dinner. That said, I go with Frank's choice.

I quite enjoyed Lupo at MB. Has everything you're looking for. Two of our party even had the liver and both said it was best they had ever had. I know. Yuck.

Fleur, no doubt. Hop on the tram from Luxor ( if it's running, I had issues ) to MB. Great vegetarian dishes and every type of food executed well.

That reminds me of a trip I made a couple of years ago. I was with a party of 14 people, and 12 were from France and Belgium (french speaking side). When the party walked in, the Maitre'D had an ashen face on him. He knew he was in for a ridiculously hard time. The steaks would have to be absolutely perfect. We were at Gordon Ramsey's Steak. They delivered. The waiters were relieved. I didn't have to pay. I was happy....

I haven't entertained these guys for the booking i'll need to make, so I'm reaching out to the knowledgable VB community (and you guys are great for sharing information). I've never had a bad steak actually in Vegas, and the simple choice may actually be the best one to make. Frank speaks the truth about not wanting to order food you're going to get at home. I expect you'll be highly critical of it (in a subjective sense). It would be like me going to a Chinese restaurant in Vegas, when I live in Hong Kong (why would I bother doing that).

I've just realised that I've done exactly what I shouldn't have done for another reservation made earlier last week. I've booked an Italian restaurant for an Italian manufacturer, simply because their surname is the same as the Wolfgang Puck restaurant ....I hope I'm not going look like a complete twat.
