After reading about everyone's adventures in gambling, my wife and I have decided that we are going to sneak in for the weekend to get away from all of our families' drama and life. We were planning on an August trip but afraid that she may be put on a travel restriction. This will break will come at the perfect time. The OB hasn't put her on a travel restriction yet as she is due in October.

The plan is to check-in at the VP. Lyft over to the Cosmo to collect a couple of grand of FP that expires in September. Convert my FP into some diaper and formula money. Head over to Carbone to celebrate. We have never been there and wanted to try something new. This trip will be about new experiences. On Saturday, we plan on cashing in the $100 Diamond meal for some live spot prawn sashimi at Beijing #9 at Caesars. Then Cut for dinner to burn some comps. Never eaten there either. Early breakfast at Bouchon to burn some more comps and then head home a winner.

Food suggestions at Carbone and Cut would be appreciated. Probably will be food pics. Haven't decided on BR yet as I just confirmed my trip this morning. There will be a good mix of table and slot games. This will be the last trip of the year. Baby is due in a few months. Doesn't feel right to go to Vegas without my partner in crime.

Spicy Rigatoni, too!

 

Went to Carbone over July 4. Caesar(croutons are phenomenal)veal parm, spicy rigatoni, pork chop, other things that I don't remember, and @undathesea had the veal marsala(he only let me pay for it but not try it, but judging by his plate he liked it!). Can't remember if we had the meatballs but I had the first time and they were excellent.

Som recommended this champagne which I really liked.
