Hitting 27/29… I’d start believing in unicorns after hitting a streak like that.

I find it much easier to keep pressing and riding a streak if another acquaintance/friend also believes. You feed off of each other’s confidence, though sometimes to our own downfall as well.

It's also a lot easier to escalate my own bets if another player is betting bigger than me, self justification that i'm still not betting that "big" and keep going. If my bets are leading in size on the table then I get nervous a lot quicker.

 

Our mind likes to play games with ourselves. A lot of the hesitation and fear comes from mentality protecting our “wins” during a streak.

Each person has a relative mental limit and when you reach it, you start second guessing and hesitating the amount to bet to either protect win or too good to be true so stop believing etc.

It’s like a mental safe guard. Which can be a good thing sometimes. People’s mental safe guards get worn down over time and often it negatively affects their gambling judgment. Having your personal life balanced and happy helps counter a lot of it.

My thought process during a streak is to keep riding it till it changes. Worst-case scenario that can happen is you lose the last bet. By that point, you have already profited during the streak. Glass half full compared to half empty.

Very difficult to maintain emotional logical thinking when playing bac. It’s such a great game that can really challenge your mental fortitude. And often can reflect and show our weaknesses to the detriment of our bankrolls.

 

Caught 9 players in a row and thats the most I have actually seen in a game I was playing in. I was pressing hard since ai had to get back on the road (was on a roadtrip). It was a boat casino and sunday so i maxed out the atm at 500 and played a little roulette and slots, which had worked it up to about 1200. Then i sat down at bacc and had some decent luck, then, that streak hit. I think i reached the table max 2000 by the 4th hand, walked with 16k after being there 90 minutes.

 

this shoe just happened - caught the bankers going out of control early on, but FML on the 200 limit

Sick story about that tie in there on the second to last hand of the shoe. I pulled a natural 9 and player tied. So it could have been even one more bank in that streak.

 

Once In Lifetime shoe for most of us.
