It sucks but I can save her the seat and besides, she flies free with me so not going to complain. Should land at LAS around 8:30 PST if everything is on time and then going to pick up our rental car. Normally we get the rental car and head straight for the Peppermill for some breakfast but we’re heading south west instead towards Death Valley. We always put a destination on our small list of to do’s because we enjoy sightseeing and visiting new landscapes that we’ll never be able to see in Ohio. Our plan is to spend a few hours there and explore before heading back to Aria, where we will be staying in a corner suite. I’m looking forward to trying out the kind of new Tower Suites check-in and lounge area. We have also put a list together of all the $1 casino chips we currently have/don’t have so we are hoping to do quite a bit of casino hopping and getting some new chips to add to the collection.

I decided to only bring $2000 with me this trip because I plan on at least two more trips this year and I don’t want to deplete the Vegas fund so early in the year. I mainly play blackjack and I enjoy slots and some VP. I always enjoy finding a $10 table somewhere so she will sit and play because honestly, that’s when I enjoy gambling the most. I also have $75 of free play at Aria that I’ll let her burn through and hopefully she’ll get some pool time in.

    Tentative schedule includes
    Thursday
-Death Valley (artist palette and bad water to name a few points of interest)

-Hop on a plane to NY (bleh)

Hopefully some people will enjoy the different type of trip to Vegas that me and my wife enjoy. Light on the degeneracy and heavy on pictures, strip walking , casino hopping, food, and for this trip the Death Valley national park.

They were great when I was there in March. Actually, everything we had there was great.

PLEASE make sure to stop off for a six-pack or so of bottled water to put in the rental car before you get to Death Valley. It is very hot, dry, and arid, and not a lot of places to find these types of things in most parts of the Valley. Always better to take precautions before heading there.
