Been a fun tour so far. Froome's downhill attack, multiple wins for Sagan and Cavendish, Contador's crashes, Dumoulin in that hail storm, the Sagan and Froome breakaway ...

Haven't watched it in a few years but I've been feeling the bug, and your post adds to it. Sounds like a hell of a race so far.

Froome got banged up, finished on Thomas' bike, lost a handful of seconds, but he's so far ahead he'd have to start tomorrow's penultimate stage in my body to be in any trouble. Mollema's munch was worse and he lost any shot at a podium finish, dropping from second to 10th. Dumoulin took it right on the chin, or at least the forearm, sadly crashing out with a fracture. He had a great tour and while not a GC contender his Olympics might be in trouble. Quintana went to third, Yates back to fourth but he still has white. Bardet moved to second with the stage win so at least the hosts won't be shut out.
