SWV is showing some really good deals for January, and I'm seriously thinking of pulling the trigger.

I've read that if you stick to the itinerary, there's no real issues - the issues occur if you try to change things, cancel, upgrade, etc.

Has anyone here actually used them, and if so, how was your experience?

My wife booked our first visit to Vegas using SW Vacations. She found some deal online and told me the price. It was so cheap I thought it was a scam.

We extended our stay with the hotel directly and had no problem changing flights on the SW app the day of -no penalty or fees.

The only thing that was weird was that they don't send you a mobile boarding pass. You have to go to a kiosk and print your boarding pass at the airport. I called about this before we left and they said because it was booked through SW vacations you have to have a hard copy boarding pass (still don't understand why, but whatever).

I just traveled to LV with SWV. Everything went very smoothly. Some in our party booked their shuttle through them as well with no problems. None of us changed our itineraries, so I can't speak to that.

I used them once when the airfare alone was higher than the package price that included 3 nights at the Golden Nugget.
No changes allowed, but as I didn't have any, it went very smoothly.

Did it last year from Memphis to the Cosmo. Between booking time, the price went down. No problem at all rebooking and them giving us a credit for the difference for use within a year. Also, we were to head home on a 6 am flight (brutal). Called the day before to see if we could switch to a later flight...no problem, and since new flight was cheaper, we got a credit for that. They even let us use the credits a couple of months after they expired for our most recent trip. They are great.
