All drugstores and grocery stores carry it. They've even started marketing it as a hangover cure. I forgot I had it (powdered packets) the only time I had it so I've only tried it after drinking. It helped, but not enough. I would bet, though, that it would really help if taken before bed. My go to for Vegas, which works for moderate drinking only, is water, water, water, Advil, water, sleep, sugar free red bull, water, light meal, shower, pool, nap. If I get dressed by 5pm I consider it an early start.
I usually take a packet or 2 during the day for the booze fest of all day Vegas drinking and then also 1 packet before bed. Haven't been really hungover in Vegas for a long time
I get the Pedialyte at CVS that's already mixed in baby bottles. You twist off the top and suck it down. Works for me.
Excited to test this. I live 2 minutes from RAF Lakenheath and 5 minutes from RAF Mildenhall (USAF bases) and a friend tells me that they have Pedialyte on the shelves. According to this article ( You must be a registered user with confirmed email address to view this content.Register or Login ) the UK has a similar product. I doubt it's nearly as good.
As a fellow Brit I jumped on the Pedialyte band wagon when going hard in Vegas. In the UK I've found that Lucozade Sport is my go to drink to recover. Pedialyte does work, you need at least two before you go to sleep but as others have said it's really around hydration and electrolytes.
Alright, I need measurements in fluid oz. The BX at the base sells it but its in half gallon size. Apparently 4 servings of 8oz. How much should I drink before bed and again in the morning? I'm testing this weekend.
