Okay, time to get ready for work. It's about -25 degrees in Calgary today so I better warm up my car for my drive to work in an hour....

Morning arrived after a fine New Years Eve. I cannot tell you the exact time we were mobile nor can I tell you what time it was when we had breakfast. Neither of us were too excited to leave the building though. Hash House a Go Go it was. I am not a fan of this place. I find the decor to be uninviting and the food to be average at best. Stupid sized portions and fun to look at, but average at best. It was more of the same today but good enough hangover food. It took them about 15-20 minutes to seat us in a half empty restaurant which was agitating but still a First World problem so it was fine.

I am not a "foody" but the size of these portions must be viewed to be understood:

After lunch we went back to the room and realized the sun had set. Yes....we missed out on an entire day of Vegas.

JR mentioned something about some time at the spa??? I was only too glad to take her there so I could hit up the Bellagio where I have more good luck than bad.

I got ready for the night and headed over while she spa'd.

I took up a little triple play machine at sportsbook where service is always great.

In the interests of wrapping this up I shall advise and only post a few highlights some of which have already been posted. I sat my ass down in the Flamingo HL room and on a $180 buy in ($80 free play) and as per the times recorded on my phone, I played from 2:25 am until 5:41 on a triple play $1 Ult X. That is kind of amazing.... Not a ton of quads or multipliers on quads more than 2X but on Ult X quads are not apparently required to keep you in the game.

I got things up from a start of $180 to $2919...how I got to $2919 is anyone's guess. I eventually cashed at $2089 when JR texted and said it was time for me to get to bed.
