What's 4th of July like in Vegas? Where do you think the best place to stay (strip or otherwise) is?

This year it will prob be crowded cause it's on a Monday so it's a three day weekend. Last year they shot off fire works behind Caesars. People might head out on the 4th though. It as crowded last year, but not insane.

The time I was there, I really couldn't tell there was much of a difference in crowd then any other summer period. If there were fireworks, I didn't see them as I was inside the casino during that period. All I remember is there were a couple summer style parties/festivals at a couple resorts, some type of beer fest at NYNY, sometype of summer party at Margaritaville, etc. All with decent prices, but nothing that interested me enough to go.
