Like others recently, I've taken advantage of CET's recent marketing partnership with the Atlantis. My GF and I will be there for four days starting this Friday, flying Delta out of JFK. We will be staying at the Cove and receive the following:
    • Complimentary Room Taxes, Maid Gratuities and Daily Resort Fee**
    • $100 Resort Credit per night
    • $250 Free Slot Play
    • Atlantis Casino Experience Pass*
    • Crescent Lounge Check-In at The Cove Atlantis
    • Access to Cain at the Cove, an adults-only ultra-pool with gaming pavilion
    • Access to Aquaventure, a one-of-a-kind 141-acre waterscape with 20 swimming areas and 11 pools
Based on the reviews here recently there are a number of restaurants that we will have to try but nothing planned as I usually like to play it by ear when I'm at a new place. I like to have a better sense of the area first before I commit to making reservations.

On that note, will reservations generally be necessary for a weekend stay?

This will be our third (out of five) Caribbean islands that we will visit this year (Bermuda and Aruba are coming up).

As I stated in SinD's review thread, I hope the weather holds up for us this upcoming weekend as it has done for those who are returning from a trip this past weekend.

I hope the gambling will be good and not the shit-show that I just experienced at Mohegan Sun this past weekend. HAHA

I just got back from Aruba! You need to rent a Jeep and go to The Natural Pool. Check it out on youtube. That made my trip. I took 5K out of Orchid Casino (Riu) and about the same out of the Renaissance. We went to the Orchid based on recommendation and was disappointed that everything was low limit. The most they would let us play was $100 numbers at roulette and that took long talks to get there. The Renaissance is more like a Vegas experience. Sort of.

Good luck at Atlantis! I'm going to be there in a couple months.
