Got a courtesy party bus to Dublin airport and now waiting to jet off to Charlotte and starting a LONG day of travelling. The only thing open for breakfast was Burger King, they didnt serve breakfast meals just normal. We therefore had this.

Is Ryanair as scary and sketchy as people make it out to be?

Not really, in fairness it was like attending a timeshare conference whilst you fly. Constantly trying to up sell sweets / snacks / gadgets etc.

Legroom on the flight was fine and it was only 30 minutes delayed , it's definitely better than Spirit! which we've flown once and probably never again!

    So we're now in Charlotte

I must say I was impressed with American, my first time flying with them and they were very efficient. Service was good not great but still far better than a lot of airlines I've flown.

The seat is one of the most comfortable business class seats I've tried and I even managed to get a few hours of much needed sleep!

I didn't indulge in the food, my wife reliably informs me that it was reasonable. I did , however, have a fair few glasses of the French red whilst in the air! She was hammering back the Bombay and Tonic!

We decided that instead of a 5 hr layover we would pay 75$ each to get the flight that leaves 1 hr 30 sooner. It's a long traveling day already so the sooner we can arrive the better!

    Will keep updating!
